The Ugly Truth Full Movie Review:
Truthfully, I’m not a huge fan of Gerard Butler, and I’m really not that familiar with Katherine Heigl, so I can’t say that I went into this movie with particularly high expectations. But I have to confess that I was surprised. This is actually a very good movie, and there are times (like the restaurant scene) when it’s downright funny. Heigl plays Abby, the strict producer of a morning television show in Sacramento who is always looking for love but never finds it. In the meantime, Mike, played by Butler, is the obnoxious host of a relationship talk show who is hired for the morning show against Abby’s wishes to increase ratings.
